Hope On Wheels ScholarshipHyundai dealers across the country are pleased to announce an expansion of the Hyundai Hope On Wheels program with a newly created educational scholarship for college-bound high school students who have battled cancer. The scholarship is just one more way that Hyundai dealers are helping to make a difference in the lives of young people affected by cancer."By offering these scholarships, we are proud to honor the very kids who have benefited from advances in this research, and are pleased to offer them this financial encouragement as they embark on their adult lives," said Scott Fink, owner of Hyundai of New Port Richey in Florida, and president of the Hyundai Dealer Association. A total of 10 scholarships (each for $2,500) will be awarded for the 2007 academic year expenses. This scholarship is open only to high school students who have beaten or are battling pediatric cancer and are entering a higher education program in fall 2007. To be considered for a scholarship, please send all documents in one package via mail to the contact on the application by January 12, 2007. Scholarship funds will be available to the recipients' higher education institutions in August 2007.
